Program Information
(15 credits)
To receive a minor in Spanish, students must participate in an approved study abroad program. All 15 semester hours are taken overseas. Student select courses from the host institution. The following are required areas for the minor: Conversation, Grammar and Composition, and Literature. Course preapproval is required for all courses. Prerequisites for this minor are:
- Successful completion of the fourth semester of college-level Spanish, or permission of the advisor for the Spanish minor.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; a GPA of 3.00 or higher in all Spanish courses.
- Placement at the intermediate level or higher in the placement exams administered at the host university.
