CRIM 210 - American Court System This course examines the structure, organization and procedures of American courts with emphasis on the adversarial role existing between the prosecuting attorney and the defense attorney in the judicial setting. Students also examine the fundamental elements of both substantive and procedural law in relation to constitutional guarantees. Historical and contemporary explanations of the American crime problem will also be analyzed in correlation with social, demographic and economic variables.
