CISC 175 - Introduction to Computer Science with C++ and Java This course is designed to provide a basis for the technical aspects of computer science. The course begins with a study of the functional units and components of a computer system and proceeds to use basic mathematical skills to reduce problems to a form appropriate for solution on the computer. Emphasis is placed on a study of the various aspects of structured programming and the problem-solving process, including problem specification, organization, and maintenance with the use of the programming languages C++ and Java.
