ECED 486 - Early Childhood Education Internship
Internship provides participants with the opportunity to work in a real world setting where they are able to transfer theory into practice. The internship involves supervised activities in a preschool or daycare setting, and credit hours awarded will vary depending on hours of internship performed at the chosen agency, in accordance with the School of Human Services Guide for Internships. Participants’ involvement during the internship includes observations with minimal participation, observation with participation, and the final experience is as a sole student teacher in the classroom setting. Credit hours awarded will vary depending on hours of internship performed at the chosen agency, in accordance with the School of Human Services Guide for Internships.
