CJWB 210 - Constitutional Interpretation This course explores, through the use of the case law approach, various constitutional
issues facing public employees as well as state and local governments. Some of the
constitutional issues examined are the role of Judicial Review in a democratic society,
liability issues raised by the Fourteenth Amendment and the Civil Rights Laws, the rise
and fall of economic due process and its effects on modern social policy, the
protection of personal liberty, and the role of the Equal Protection clause of the
Fourteenth Amendment.
