Credit by Examination

The College awards undergraduate credit to fulfill degree requirements for certain DANTES Subject Standardized Test, and College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), and a score of 3 or higher on Advanced Placement (AP) examinations. The College awards credit for examinations which have been approved as comparable to Springfield College courses or college-level electives.  All credit by examination are reviewed by the Academic Advising Center. Credits by examination do not qualify for residency credit, will be assigned a “P” (pass) grade, and are not calculated into the Springfield College GPA.
