E. Study Abroad
The Study Abroad Themed Exploration is an opportunity for students to study a range of topics within an international context. Through an approved semester-long study abroad program (as determined by the Springfield College International Center office staff), students will study the people, culture, and land of an internatonal location during their semester abroad. Students will critically reflect on their own global and leadership experiences abroad. This Themed Exploration is defined by its emphasis on student’s study abroad experience. As such, completion of the study abroad experience will reflect completion of this Themed Exploration with 9 credits of the corresponding courseswork transcribed as follows:

VI. Wellness Passport
The Wellness Passport is a cocurricular degree requirement that builds on students’ Wellness and Physical Literacy Core requirements, and prepares students to incorporate wellness across the lifespan while encouraging them to pursue an active, healthy lifestyle. Students are required to choose from a range of qualifying experiences during their third and fourth years (after completing their 300-level Wellness and Physical Literacy course) that allow them to further explore and develop personal wellness practices and physical literacy. Students engage in activities in three types of wellness: physical, mental, and meaning and purpose. Wellness Passport requires completion of 8 stamps for physical wellness, 8 stamps for mental wellness, and 8 stamps for meaning and purpose wellness. Qualifying activities are identified for students in Springfield College’s internal portal, PrideNET.
