Program Description
The Strength and Conditioning program will provide students seeking positions in the field of strength and conditioning the knowledge and skills necessary for safe and effective program design and implementation to enhance athletic development. Completion of the concentration will allow students to be eligible for and academically prepared to sit for the National Strength and Conditioning Associated (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.

Candidates in the Strength and Conditioning track are eligible for an M.S. with the completion of a thesis. Students completing a non-thesis option are eligible for an M.Ed and must complete a School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation poster presentation of their Independent Study (AEXS 692)
