Creative Writing Minor

Program Description
The minor in creative writing is designed for those students who wish to express themselves in writing. Students who pursue this course of study will have the opportunity to write in a variety of forms and genres, including poetry, fiction, drama, and creative non-fiction. Students will draft, workshop, and revise a range of writing projects, all of which will help them to see the world in new ways and help others to do so, too.

- Only one course can be used to satisfy both a major and minor requirement
- Only one course can be used to satisfy two minor programs’ requirements
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 for courses in the minor is required for graduation
