Program Information

(18 credits)

The minor in YMCA Professional Leadership is an interdisciplinary theoretical and skill-based program that prepares YMCA Professional Studies students and other interested students for positions of leadership in the YMCA and other human service organizations.  Students who complete the required 18 credits in this program will be positioned to enter the YMCA movement as a career professional.

Note: An internship experience in a YMCA setting is strongly encouraged, but not required through your major.
