Program Information
(15 credits)
The English minor is designed to increase students’ abilities in oral and written expression, to develop their proficiency in reading and analyzing literature, and to stimulate their appreciation, awareness, and understanding of the fundamental human problems and situations revealed in great literature. It also seeks to further develop their skills and techniques in writing and oral communication.
Additional requirements (9 credits):
One additional 200 level ENGL course (3 credits) excluding ENGL 203, 231, 232 and 234.
One 300 level ENGL course (3 credits)
One additional ENGL course numbered 200 or above
Note: One COMM course can be substituted for an ENGL course.
