CISC 205 - Introduction to Embedded Systems for Robotics
This course introduces embedded systems used in robotics. A robot uses sensors to perceive their environment, actuators to perform actions, and software to accomplish programmed tasks. In this laboratory course you will learn the basic skills necessary to develop embedded systems. This course will have numerous hands-on projects where students will work in teams to create and control a robotic system. Projects include programming microcontrollers, 3D printing, and creating a robot arm. This course welcomes students from all backgrounds and encourages creativity in teamwork. Credits: 3
