OCTH 625 - Performance, Dysfunction, and OT Adaptation in Adolescents This course involves the study of human performance from school age through young adulthood, emphasizing normal and dysfunctional processes which may affect growth and development, learning, self-care, leisure, peer relations, school, work, and family functioning. Various theories and occupational therapy frames of reference are utilized in understanding the life tasks of adolescents. Intervention strategies are covered and practiced during the lab experience. Credits: 3
Prerequisites: OCTH 501 - Occupational Therapy Fundamentals and OCTH 503 - Professional Seminar I Registration Restrictions: Restricted to Occupational Therapy majors
