ARTS 470 - Advanced Art and Design Studio

The advanced art and design studio course provides students the opportunity to gain an in-depth study of a specific medium or art form. Students prepare written statements of their personal aesthetic vision that act as catalysts and theoretical foundations for advanced studio work in their individual disciplines. This is a capstone course that synthesizes accumulated knowledge and focuses on the evaluation of the student’s method of preparing work for exhibition. Gallery directors are invited to visit the classroom and comment on successful presentation methods.
