SMRT 110 - Introduction to Esports and Gaming

This course introduces students to the evolving industry of esport and gaming. There is a particular emphasis on exploring the current concepts associated with gaming and esport through their historical evolution. Additionally, students are introduced to the economic, technological, cultural and international elements associated with the industry. Finally, students are introduced to some of the career options affiliated with the gaming and esport industry.
