ENGL 237 - Bikes, Bars, and a Revolution: 20th Century LGBTQ* Activism

This is a seminar style course in which students study 20th century LGBTQ* history from a rhetorical perspective. Readings and discussions focus on how activists utilized rhetoric-the available means of persuasion-to fight for their right to live authentic lives.
