CYDL 210 - Alternative Theories in Youth Development This course is designed to provide the students with the historical view of youth work
in the United States and an understanding of theories of youth work, such as the
principles of youth work in the context of community. The students conduct a
critical analysis of local, national, and international youth worker movements
and community development projects that are responsive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive
to the role youth workers play in facilitating the positive development of our youth.
