MATH 215* - Probability and Statistics This course introduces methods of collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting
numerical data. Probability theory is used to make inferences about the populations
from which the sample data are drawn. The mathematical statistics investigate
types of frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, and hypotheses
testing.
Fulfills General Education category mathematics.
Prerequisites & Notes MATH 115 or equivalent.
