PHED 562 - Physical Education for the Mentally Retarded and Those with Associated Disorders

This course studies the characteristics and needs of the mentally retarded. Disorders associated with mental retardation are presented, and the focus is on theory, current research, problems of mainstreaming and programming, and associated areas of concern which affect the retarded in general.

Prerequisites & Notes
Senior or graduate status.
