SMRT 254 - Tourism


This course explores the economic, social, and environmental impact of the domestic and international travel and tourism industry. The principal components of tourism, such as attractions, transportation, accommodations, and geography, are included. Major emphasis focuses on the motivation for travel, marketing techniques, principles, procedures of tour, convention management, services for the disabled traveler, and planning as a means of establishing quality services.

SMRT 116 or permission of instructor.
