HLTH 485 - Practicum in Health/Family and Consumer Science-Grades 5-12

This is a supervised practicum in grades 5-12 of a public school that includes observation of and participation in the work of the school. This course provides the student with exposure to various teaching methods and learning experiences.

Prerequisites & Notes
Health studies major, matriculation, permission of the department, and the following courses HLTH 303, 386, 417, and EDUC 237. Student must have passed MTEL exams and courses designated by their program.
