DANC 135* - Modern and Post-Modern Dance Theory and Technique I
Designed for the beginning dancer, this course provides an intensive experience
in American modern and post-modern dance. Drawing from the numerous styles and
philosophies associated with the development of American modern and post-modern
dance, this course emphasizes the individual at the center of the dance experience.
Classes include dance technique, choreographic problem solving, performance, discussion,
lecture, and video.
Fulfills VAPA General Education category.
Prerequisites & Notes
PEAC 133 or consent of the instructor.
