BIOL 316 - Applied Microbiology and Immunology This course is designed to acquaint students with principles governing microbial actions, microbe utilization and control of microorganisms. Fundamentals of medical microbiology, resistance and immunity, microbial biotechnology related to the industrial and agricultural areas as well as topics of public health and environmental concerns are covered.
Prerequisites & Notes BIOL 121-122 and CHEM 121-122. BIOL 315, although not a prerequisite, is strongly recommended. Co-requisite: Students must also register for the corresponding lab, BIOL 317.
