CISC 240 - Advanced Programming Concepts

This course is designed to teach students essential software development skills. Topics covered will include Linux, shell, version control, Python scripting, project structure, and software testing/profiling.  There will be significant programming within this course that will build pragmatic skills. The goal of the class is to provide hands on experience with the modern tools and practices used in today’s tech industry while cultivating students’ curiosity.
