Program Description
The Sports Science major prepares students to work in the collegiate and/or professional athletics with the ability to collect, analyze, and present data to sport coaches, athletic trainers, and other members of a high-performance team. These students will be provided the flexibility to choose between courses to enhance their pre-existing skills, fill gaps within their previous education, and focus specifically on their future professional goals. Students who finish this track will be encouraged to sit for the Certified Professional in Sports Science (CPSS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
