Program Information
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is one of the most popular graduate degrees nationwide. The MBA degree is very versatile in that it is valued in a wide variety of industries. The MBA at Springfield College prepares students for leadership and managerial roles within organizations. The curriculum is designed to provide students with the business knowledge base and skills that will prepare them for achievement in their chosen fields. Core business course offerings are centered on the functional business areas of finance, marketing, accounting, economics, and management. Courses provide a blend of theory and the application of concepts. The course is highlight the development of analytical, and decision-making skills.
Program Requirements
The MBA requires a minimum of 30 semester hours of graduate credit. The MBA at Springfield College is designed such that students may reasonably complete the degree requirements in one year. Alternatively, students may elect to complete courses at his/her own pace on a part-time basis.
Undergraduate prerequisites include: the principles of accounting, microeconomics, principles of marketing, principles of management, and principles of finance. A comprehensive prep course may be substituted for the prerequisites.
