FREN 215 - Cartoons and Controversy: French Satire in the Media

This course studies comics and cartoons, a graphic vehicle for social commentary, historically and through the present. The focus on Ali Dilem, an Algerian cartoonist, serves as a point of convergence for debates on contemporary topics in social sciences and in visual arts. Knowledge of French Language is not required.
