SOCI 487 - Senior Seminar

This Senior Seminar course is taken in conjunction with SOCI 486: Fieldwork in Sociology. Students use a sociological lens to understand the dynamics of their fieldwork site and the related organizations and institutions that are focused on addressing social problems. Students develop a project that links the content and methods of the major with the goals of the core curriculum using the field work placement as the site of inquiry. This significant work/capstone project provides evidence of how well a student has integrated and applied principles, concepts, and abilities that have been part of their experience at Springfield College.
