HUSB 218 - Family Counseling & Understanding Diverse Cultures This course introduces major theoretical approaches to family therapy. Students learn to analyze the interactions of family structure, ethnicity and the impact of social control agents in determining appropriate helper responses. Ways in which the service providers’ ethnicity, culture and race influence their perceptions are also explored.
