DANC 160 - Movement Fundamentals and Body Practices This course utilizes biomechanical and structural principles to introduce students to healthy movement practices and fundamentals for injury prevention, increased mobility, as well as lifelong practices for mental, emotional and physical health. Students are introduced to various body practices including but not limited to Pilates, yoga, Bartenieff fundamentals, conditioning, Somatics, breath work, meditation, and/or Gyrokinesis with an anatomical and physiological approach as it relates to overall health.
