NUSC 450 - Nutrition Fieldwork Students will spend approximately 250 hours in an approved setting of their choice within the field of nutritional sciences. Students will shadow professionals and gain practical experience in the fields of public/community health, food industry, health care and research. All 300 level NUSC courses must be completed prior to enrolling in this course.
Prerequisites & Notes NUSC majors only.
NUSC 250 - Nutritional Assessment
NUSC 300 - Advanced Nutrition and Metabolism
NUSC 310 - Principles of Food Science
or
NUSC 320 - Community Nutrition
NUSC 330 - Food Service Management
NUSC 340 - Nutrition and Culture
