PHTH 574 - Human Movement Across the Lifespan In this course, participants will acquire an understanding of the requirements for production of skilled human movement behavior and human motor development. Students will explore concepts of motor control, motor learning, and motor development. Students will examine the processes that underlie changes in movement behavior over the lifespan, as well as the factors that influence those processes. Understanding of movement behavior as it applies to movement dysfunction and the practice of physical therapy will be emphasized.
