PSYC 627 - Assessment in Family Therapy This course provides students with the theories and concepts of modernist and postmodernist approaches to family therapy. Family assessment approaches from the structural/strategic, Bowenian, and systemic perspectives are explored. An overview of essential clinical skills with an emphasis on intake an initial session interviewing skills are included, as well as the use of family assessment instruments.
