CRIM 340 - Community-Based Corrections This course provides students with a comprehensive review of community-based sanctions, alternative student frustration, and early release processes. Students learn about the wide array of effective punishment and treatment programs designed to meet the level of risk and needs for different offenders. It covers topics such as traditional probation and parole, as well as intermediate sanctions, including electronic monitoring, house arrest, boot camps, day reporting centers, restitution, fines, community service.
