CJWB 120 - Criminal Law and Procedure This course covers the basic concepts of substantive criminal law and criminal procedure. Students gain knowledge of the criminal law and its procedural aspects as they relate to individuals constitutionally protected rights. The course covers the general principles of criminal liability, criminal defenses, and sentencing and punishment. Students examine structure of the legal system in the United States can understand constitutional safeguards and procedures from arrest through final disposition.
