EDUC 699 - Engaging Families and Communities in Education

This course addresses the development of culturally relevant practices for engaging families and communities education. The course will include research on forms of engagement and effective communication strategies, means for supporting the home-school connection, and approaches to building community partnerships. This hybrid course will integrate the use of on-line assignments, readings, videos, as well as, in class discussions.
