OCTH 421 - Performance, Dysfunction, and Occupational Therapy Adaptation in Childhood Through the study of human performance from preschool through school age, this course emphasizes normal and dysfunctional processes affecting growth and development, learning, self care, play and leisure, and family functioning. Techniques for assessment and intervention in sensory, perceptual motor, cognitive, emotional, and social skill development are emphasized and practiced in laboratory experiences, with particular attention to skills needed in the school system.
Prerequisites & Notes OCTH 420, PHTH 308, OCTH412 or permission of Instructor.
