Masters Along the Way

|
The Masters Along the Way option is intended to allow Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) students to request/receive a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling with a concentration in General Counseling if/when their desired practicum/internship site requires a Masters degree in a counseling-related field to apply. Applicable students must submit a completed Masters Along the Way Request Form with appropriate signatures for consideration. If approved, they must meet all degree requirements for the M.Ed. in Counseling with a concentration in General Counseling before their degree will be conferred. Conferral will appear on their Doctoral record/transcript.
Students with a conferred Masters Along the Way will not receive a diploma nor can they participate in Commencement exercises based on conferral of this M.Ed. degree.
