Cross Registration for courses between Regional Campuses, Online, and Main Campus

Prior approval of course cross-registration between our regional campuses, online, and main campus must be secured by submitting the Springfield College Cross-Registration form. This form requires the approval of the department chair of the academic program.  Students must fulfill course prerequisites, if any, prior to course cross-registration.

Cross-registering students will pay the tuition associated with the primary program affiliation of the program in which the student is currently enrolled, not the specific tuition rate of course for which they are cross-registering. Traditional/main campus undergraduate students cross-registering in the summer for online or regional courses will pay the online and regional tuition on a per-credit basis.

Undergraduate students are eligible to cross-register for undergraduate courses only.  Graduate students are eligible to cross-register for graduate courses or undergraduate-level prerequisites only. For graduate students, program required courses may not be met through course cross-registration.

Course cross-registration is available on a first come, first served basis based upon maximum course enrollment.

Notes:

Students who wish to permanently transfer from one regional campus to another (including between online and regional campuses) should submit the “Permanent Campus Transfer Form” to the Registrar’s Office after consulting with their advisor.

Students who wish to transfer programs or change majors/departments, must meet the admissions criteria for the program; see the Change of Major policy .
