Adding and Dropping Courses

All matriculated students are required to self-register for their coursework.  Exceptions may be granted by the Registrar in cases where students are unable to self-register and there is written evidence that student has either requested or supported the registration(s). 

Registration typically opens in April for the following terms: Summer semester, Summer/Fall quarter, Fall semester, and Fall/Winter quarter.  Registration typically opens in November for the following terms: Winter/Spring quarter, Spring semester, and Spring/Summer quarter. Students can self-register at any point thereafter through the established add/drop deadline for each term/subterm, as follows: 

For sections on a quarter term, there is a five-day period after the start of classes to make registration changes. 
For full semester sections, there is a one-week period after the start of classes to make registration changes.  
For first and/or second half sections on a semester term, there is a three-day period after the start of classes to make registration changes. 
All specific dates related to the opening and closing of registration are available on the College’s academic calendar for that respective term.
