Posthumous Degree

Pending approval of the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Vice President of Student Affairs, Springfield College may award a degree posthumously to a deceased student who was in good academic standing and has either earned a minimum of 90 credits (undergraduate) / began the capstone experience as determined by their School Dean (graduate/doctoral).  The posthumous nature of the degree will be indicated on the student’s official transcript.
