SHSY 167 - YMCA Lifeguard Instructor

This course provides necessary training and information for participants to certify people as YMCA lifeguards in the new program and as a YMCA Aquatic Safety Assistant (YASA). This course does not automatically renew YMCA Lifeguard certification.

Prerequisites & Notes
Minimum age 18, current CPR, current YMCA Lifeguard program certification, Principles of YMCA Aquatic Leadership or BALC certification or Fundamentals of Teaching YMCA Swim Lessons.
