MATH 101W - Mathematics for Early Childhood and Elementary Education

This course presents elementary concepts of mathematics in a problem-solving mode in accordance with the standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Topics include an introduction to sets, properties, and operations of numbers in various number systems, logic, geometry, and measurement. This course includes a hands-on laboratory component.

This course does not fulfill the General Education category in mathematics. May fulfill WAC.
