PSYC 785 - Doctoral Practicum and Seminar

Supervised field experience is an integral part of preparation for professional activity.  Students work in applied settings and receive supervision, integrating theoretical and empirical work in counseling with real-life experiences.  Students are involved in leadership experiences in the field and may have the opportunity to provide supervision for master’s students.  Seminar meetings focus on discussion of issues relevant to counseling practices.
