OCTH 501 - Occupational Therapy Fundamentals

This course is a study of the historical and current philosophies, models, franes and frameworks of occupational therapy with emphasis on the present scope of practices, issues, and concepts. The values of occupational performance and activity in prevention, treatment, and health maintenance are also addressed.  Students practice the occupational therapy process and professional reasoning in developing and evaluating occupation based treatment plans.

Prerequisites & Notes
Occupational therapy major or permission of instructor.
