CRIM 460 - Criminology

A study of crime patterns, behaviors and institutional practices in addressing the
crime problem is the major focus of this course. This course will examine the nature
of crime in relation to the social, economic, and political processes in exploring the behaviors of individuals processed through the criminal justice system. Structural, social, psychological and environmental approaches are frequently used in the direction of differentiating the criminal from the non-criminal.
